Holy Island Archaeology Project: Marvellous Maps

Dr. David Petts continues to reseach his next exciting archaeological project: An investigation of the Monastery and people of Lindisfarne (Holy Island) off the Northumbrian Coast.

Today, we examine how ‘desk based assessment’ – maps, geophysics and tantilising interpretations have contributed to the preparation of this project.
